The Wirral
The weather forecast this morning looked good on the Wirral. First stop was Burton Mere arriving just after 9.00am, not much about so we moved on to Station Road where a crowd of people had spotted a Buff Bellied Pipit (a very rare vagrant from America or Asia) amongst 20 or so Meadow Pipits. We managed a couple of shots before we lost sight of it then moved on to Quayside by the Harp Inn where a Stonechat was showing well.
